A 6-month course on becoming grounded, conscious, and resilient
in times of deep uncertainty and change

There is no doubt we are living through a time of profound uncertainty—both collectively and personally.
On a collective level, we are witnessing rapid social, political, environmental, and economic changes that are reshaping what once felt predictable or secure.
And at the same time, many of us are navigating deeply personal experiences of uncertainty and destabilization: relocation, health challenges, career transitions, financial strain, children leaving home, relationship changes, identity shifts, and the unknown of what comes next.
Like many people, I grew up believing my sense of peace and well-being depended on my ability to control or change external circumstances.
If I could just get someone to behave differently, then I’d feel okay.
If I could make the situation change, then I could finally relax.
But when life brought circumstances outside of my control, I didn’t know how to stay grounded within them.
I would either brace myself and endure or try to escape through coping strategies like food, alcohol, TV, overthinking, or distraction.
It wasn’t until I began studying Spiritual Psychology that I realized something life-changing- my sense of well-being did not have to be determined by what was happening outside of me.
I began learning tools, practices, and perspectives that helped me stay rooted in myself, or gently return to myself, as life was lifing. And since then, I’ve devoted my work to helping others do the same.
That’s why I created The SHIFT.
When I first taught this work, the primary focus was helping people navigate the collective and political uncertainty happening in our world. This time, it’s about something broader and more personal: learning how to meet uncertainty wherever it shows up in your life.
Whether it’s health challenges, relationship changes, career transitions, financial instability, parenting shifts, relocation, grief, or simply the unknown of what comes next- life continually asks us to navigate moments that feel destabilizing and uncertain.
This version of The SHIFT is about learning how to stay grounded, connected to yourself, and emotionally resilient through those moments.
Not by trying to control the world outside of us.
But by learning how to remain connected to ourselves within it.

The SHIFT invites you into a different relationship with yourself and life.

You stop needing certainty in order to feel safe
You begin to trust your ability to meet life as it unfolds
Emotional waves are met with presence instead of judgment

This is not about becoming perfect. It’s about becoming internally anchored.

Over the course of this 6-month journey, we will work with the real, lived experience of being human in uncertain times.
We’ll explore how to:
Stay grounded when fear, overwhelm, or reactivity arise
Recognize the difference between conditioning, intuition, and Truth
Stop abandoning yourself in moments of emotional intensity
Build resilience and inner stability
Release urgency, over-control, and hypervigilance
Shift from self-protective strategy reactions to conscious response
Reconnect with your deeper inner wisdom and higher awareness
Live from alignment rather than fear-based decision-making
Stay engaged with the world without becoming consumed by it
This is both deeply practical and deeply inner work.
It is not about managing symptoms.
It is about shifting your relationship to yourself.

How The Work Works
This work is about building a skill, a way of being.
And like any real skill, it requires new understanding, the learning of new concepts, and consistent practice in real life over time.
It also requires conscious reflection, the willingness to notice what’s happening internally, and the ability to course-correct as you apply new ways of responding in real time.
Transformation doesn’t happen through insight alone.
It happens through integration and through practicing these new ways of being in the actual moments of your life, and being supported as you do.
Learning in a group accelerates this process. You get to hear others’ experiences, recognize yourself in them, and apply insights that aren’t only your own.

I cannot control all the uncertainty, instability, and pain that exists in our world or guarantee that life will always go according to plan.
None of us can.
But I have seen what becomes possible when people learn how to stay connected to themselves through life’s hardest, most uncertain seasons.
